Edgewater Park Family Opens Geraghty's a New Pub & Restaurant in Burlington City

The Peak Family of Edgewater Park has opened Geraghty's a new Pub and Restaurant, 148 West Broad St., Burlington, NJ.
The inside has been completely redone and the atmosphere around the bar and dinning area is very comfortable and family friendly. Geraghty's has 13 draft beers on tap as well as 52 different bottled beers. The food menu has Starters, Salads, Quesadillas, Mussels & Clams, The Featured Geraghty's Burgers and Sandwiches. You get free refills with Beverages (Soda & Ice Tea) and ask your server for a list of desserts.
If you are looking for a nice place to eat and drink that is not overbearingly loud with a nice crowd, I recommend you try Geraghty's. You can park along Washington Ave and enter the Restaurant on the Washington Ave entrance or enter the Pub via the Broad St. entrance.
I hope you visit Geraghty's and enjoy the people, food, drink and atmosphere . The Peak family is always present to make your visit enjoyable.

Just went recently and the food was fabulous along with the service. If you go you must have one of their burgers. They are honest to goodness homemade. The Peak family did a wonderful job on renovating. The atmosphere is very warm and inviting.

Good luck to the Peak family!

Yes the burgers are great as well as the Crab Cake Sandwich. Check out the draft beers what a choice. Good to see a local family working hard to cater to families and not having your head split open with loud music or watching drug deals being made in front of my family.
Best of luck and this will be a regular stop on our eat out nights.

Wow what a difference from the type of bar that preceded Geraghty's and it is only 2 blocks from the Downtown Light Rail Station. You will like the service, you get waited on right away, not like some other places and Aron you are right, no head banger music.

I like drugs and heavy music. Where can I go?

I've been there twice already and had the Geraghty burger and crab cake sandwich; both excellent. Also the chips are like homemade thicker slices deep fried and sprinkled with grated cheese - again excellent taste. Very clean and new. The service was excellent. Try it out, You won't be disappointed.

Doc's Pub is much better! Food is incredible and it has a much more interesting decor.

truth be told----must be you like the specials you get under the table! You right you won't find them at Geraghty's, they just have a good family frendly atmosphere and good food, good service and no backroom trade.

I think Geraghty's is too new too judge decor; there really isn't any on the freshly painted walls. I just hope they don't mess it up will all the standard neon beer lights and signs like everywhere else. It has a developing classy look to it, great food and beer selection. Don't even think it should be compared to Doc's Pub, sports bars are a dime a dozen, well, except for Alstarz Sports Pub in Bordentown. To each his own.

What about the Township budget? Isn't that what we should be discussing rather than rating bars?

This blog is much more useful rating bars! Most interesting thing I've seen on this site. I find this a great public service!!

So you are telling me another township employee has purchased a bar in Burlington? What does that say about our town?

Speaking of places to eat. Have you noticed all the cars at the Green Cafe? I wonder if that property is 300 years old yet. If it's not I am sure it will be soon. You know, if you photo copy things just right you can even get the state to believe it.
